"MozCelebs" An Event to Celebrate 15 Years of Mozilla. The another objective of this event is to hold an open discussion with Reps and most committed contributors identified in MozCafe-Allahabd to be held on 30th March in Allahabad.

MozCamp Allahabad is an effort to build a Mozilla and FOSS community in northern state of the country (UP) starting with educational hub of the state 'Allahabad'. Allahabad is also know as Prayag. One of the major objective of this event is to make people aware about the opprtunities to get invlove in Moziila and FOSS intiatives. Interaction with students community and indentifying potential contributors.

Am happy to share this news!Organised Mozilla Awareness program in warangal with the support all MSR'S.I feel elated for being part of such programs which help people to know about the importance of open source.Students were excited about firefox os.They loved it.I have done my part in the awareness program by explaining them about the products,projects of mozilla and how to get started in mozilla.

                 Being a girl,it gave me lot of boost by seeing the interest of girls to get into WoMoz.I will try my best in encouraging more number of girl students take part in FOSS.I once again thank all the MSR's and my colleage Meraj Imran who also took a session and supported me.I thank the mozilla community for being so supportive!

Hi everyone,

I'm sharing my best experience in organizing today's mozcafe-II which mozillians of JITS have helped me alot. The event was a kick off event where I expected not more than 50 attendees, but it was beyond my expectation. Around 150+ students from 2nd year and 3rd year of CSE and IT branches have taken part.

I started the session with FOSS and I described the participants about the importance of open source software and the Hema Bhanu WOMOZ rep from my college has given a session on mozilla project and about WOMOZ and how to get involved.

We distributed the goodies to the participants and there was huge response from the attendees. As soon as I finished my session, the participants were asking about how to get ubuntu for their laptops. I felt happy on getting the students motivated towards FOSS.

We then shared a link of the form of mozilla club warangal members to get assistance from us. I thank all the mozillians and participants who has made our event success!! You can find our presentation below:

Hii all,
Today was a great experience for me .
Initiated Mozilla awareness program in warangal atarting with our college JAYAMUKHI INSTITUE OF TECHNOLOGICAL SCIENCES .
It was teh first time which i took responsibility and conducted a program , all thanks to  warangal reps Imran and hema who  took the sessions on "what is mozilla" and " mozilla open source projects" and "womoz " .
had good time and distributed goodies of mozilla to the enthusiastic participants.
all together there was a gathering of 180-200 students of our college.
many students were very much interested to get involved in mozilla community.
and my sincre thanks to Jaydev Gyani sir  who gave permission to conduct the programme.
and my future plan next about this awareness program is to take this out of my college and expand this to other colleges.
hopefully sumathi reddy engg college, a girl there have spoke top me regarding this program and in feb ending we shall start over there.
