Antarjaateeya Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam [ATBD]

Hi mozillians,

Mozilla Club Warangal today has celebrated International Telugu Day as the hopes for evolution of mother tongue Telugu today is present on the youth. In this Celebration the students of Jayamukhi Institute of Technological Sciences has taken part and shown their love towards their mother tongue "Telugu" by localizing the various articles present in NeMo (News Mozilla)  wiki and some of the students have also translated few strings of firefox browser.

Me and Hema have shown the demo to the  students how to localise the NeMo articles and post it in the wiki page.  Students felt very happy by contributing towards the NeMo. The session has started on what is localization, why is the need to localize the softwares and articles and then the teams for each article have been divided (each team conmprising of 3 members) in which each team has selected their own article and started localizing it into telugu language.

We announced the students that the best localized article will be given a firefox t-shirt as encouragement which boozed the students with happiness.

Finally I thank all the students, volunteers and Faculty , HOD Mr. Gyaniji  of JITS who made the  event succesful. A special thanx to Hema for taking the initiative for WOMOZ.
